Counseling
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to provide therapy to individuals and couples in a sensitive and thoughtful manner. My special areas of experience include dealing with all aspects of infertility, high-risk pregnancy, miscarriage, recurrent loss, stillbirth, post-partum depression and adoption consideration.

Consultation
Consultations are available to help prospective recipients of donor egg, donor sperm, and embryo adoption process the common psychological issues related to third-party reproduction.
Included are:
  • Processing the loss you might feel about not having a genetic connection to your child
  • Concerns about how to facilitate bonding and attachment
  • Disclosure to your family, friends, and most importantly, your child

Psychological Evaluations
I am trained to perform psychological evaluations to assess the suitability of egg donors, gestational carriers and surrogates including a two-hour clinical interview and administration of the MMPI-2.

Facilitation
Finally, I am available to you to help facilitate the initial meeting between recipients and their gestational carrier or surrogate. My hope is to provide you all with the beginnings of an ongoing dialogue to address the expectations of all parties involved with third-party reproduction. I will also be there to support you, your donor or your carrier as you proceed through treatment and your pregnancy.
